Important: This page explains how to permanently delete your Formula Friends account and what data will be removed from our systems.

How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your account directly from the Formula Friends app:

If you cannot access the app or encounter issues with in-app deletion, you can request account deletion by email:

Please include:

Response time: We will process your request within 30 days of receiving it.

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our systems:

User Profile: Your user ID, username, email, display name, and profile photo
Authentication Data: Your Firebase Authentication account and session tokens
Predictions: All your race predictions and championship predictions
Groups: Your group memberships (groups you created may transfer ownership or be deleted if you're the only member)
Chat Messages: All messages you sent in the race chat
Game Data: Your scores, rankings, and game statistics

⚠️ Warning: Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.

After account deletion, Formula Friends does not retain any personally identifiable information. However:

Aggregated Analytics: Anonymized, aggregated analytics data (not linked to you) may be retained for app improvement purposes
Legal Compliance: We may retain certain data if required by law or to prevent fraud

No personal data that can identify you is retained after account deletion.
